Before named as Jak Lingko, The government of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno, has introduced their intermodal transportation integration program OK Otrip (One Ticket One Trip). This program allows passengers to pay an only one-time payment of IDR 5,000 to then use various small bus services to Transjakarta for 3 hours. Officially implemented as of October 1, 2018. The name OK Otrip was changed to Jak Lingko.
On Friday, November 9, 2018, Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan announced the winner of the logo competition of Jakarta transportation integration program, Jak Lingko. Anies said there were 126 other participants from all over Indonesia. The winner for this contest was Melvin Santoso, one of our team, from Surabaya.
Melvin Santoso said the logo was inspired by the lingko rice system in NTT. The logo means that the transportation modes in Jakarta are interconnecting in all districts and cities. "The shape is also like a spider web. I developed it to make it look like a spider web, then I made it to the 6 corners. It symbolized the integration direction from Jak Lingko," he explained.
