They curate and QC all of their coffees with a top-notch standards to ensure consistency & flavorful enjoyment, and they also put their love into it to make sure the cup of coffee in your cup is more than just a beverage. They enjoy making coffee everyday like it is their own bestfriends. Obladi Coffee want to offer a different experience and approach to their niche customer. They don't want the new brand directions look like a mainstream and generic premium coffee brands. It also needs to visualize the owner's love and passion for coffee, their spontaneus & welcoming personality, and the head that full of creativity.
We would like the brand direction to be hip, flashy, eye-catching, bold, and unique! Inspired from the Beatles song, Obladi choosed as the brand name. It means 'life goes on' - Life goes on easier with a cup of good coffee. We helped Obladi define its unique personality in the niche market by designing a catchy, fun and playful identity. The identity took a form of logotype which was built upon a flexible system.
The logotype can be used with supporting graphic elements or independently. The color palette was a nod to the coffee origin culture. The unique combination of geometric 3D shape and fun typography made the product more visually attractive and spot-on when displayed at the shop racks. The Obladi's new brand identity encapsulated their passion & love for coffee and genuine expression & friendliness of the owner.
